This Lenten Cloth, Fastentuch in German, was  painted in 1640. It's one of the many treasures  that can be seen in the Oesterreichisches fuer Volkskunde Museum (Austrian Museum of Folk Life and Folk Art) in Schoenborn Palais on Laudongasse 15-19 in the 8th District.
