Greetings everyone,
Does anybody have any information or experience on the laws regarding papers, shots, and microchips for our two cats that we are bringing with us from the U.S. to Vienna when we move?
Thanks in advance!!!

How to change my cats Microchip details with Petlog (details inside)?
Last year and up until June this year i was volunteering at a kennels, they had some cats that needed rehousing and as the moths went by they still hadn't re-homed them (they had already been there a couple of years and weren't really doing anything to re home them either). Over the easter period this year which was March/April time i told them i would be willing to take one on and see how they got on with my cat on a trial period.
By the time it came for me to leave about three months later i still had the cat, i was told to put my information on a piece of paper such as name, address, telephone number, and they would change the details of the cats microchip with Petlog. Its now September and i'm pretty certain the cats staying with me now. I'm just wondering can i change her microchip details myself i do i need to contact the kennel managers and ask them to do so.
I was expecting a letter from Petlog to say that the details had been changed or something as i had a letter when i got my cat chipped. As i haven't heard anything i'm thinking they must not a bothered to contact them.
The cat i have belonged to the kennel managers daughter who lives in another part on the country, i don't know if the microchip has the daughters previous details or if they changed it to the kennel address. I don't know if they could change the details on the chip or if it needs to be the their daughter.
I'm not sure how it works when the owner changes. |

| Our cat is registered on animaldata.com. The owner of the animal is supposed to make any data or ownership changes by logging in online or by faxing them (+43 2732 78896). There is a special Aenderungscode on the "Petcard" that is issued to the owner to allow them to make amendments to the animal's record. |
