Dear all-

Anyone know of a place you can get it in Vienna? (ie: Pinkberry style...)

Thanks!

Not sure if this helps as i dont know any of the brand names, but if Ben & Jerry do that, then I have noticed that most video rental stores seem to have Ben & Jerrys so you could try them, and if Haagen Dazs do it, then you can find that in Spar shops and also in Billa although i think Spar has more varieties.

Thanks for the replies :) To be honest, I am interested in finding out if people in Vienna even know/understand what frozen yogurt is all about and if there would be an interest for it in Wien. It is very popular where I come from, but not sure if people would "get it"here...

I was looking for it to make smoothies at home, but didnt find any. If there are sorts of frozen yoguhrt low calories, bio and all that good stuff, for smoothies, i would be very interested in buying it! I was literally driving from shop to shop to find it and gave up finally.

Actually i think i was looking for probiotic frozen yogurht, because i tried a smoothie with it and it was divine... But that place closed.

I heard it's not the same as it is in the US but might be worth a try.

The frozen yogurt at Freshii may not be what the OP is looking for. I was thinking it would be along the lines of, say, TCBY- but it is basically just plain frozen yogurt (as in plain yogurt that is in frozen form) that you can add toppings to.

It wasn't what I was hoping for/expecting.

(But I do like the other food at Freshii.)

I have been to freshii as well- The Apple Chicken Crunch wrap is delish! However, the frozen yogurt there, as viennamom said, is not exactly what I'm looking for :(

Sometimes this site turns our really useful, like in this case of frozen yogurt. Been there today and bought the whole box of it for smoothies and milkshakes at home. It is quite ok, apart from the syrops which taste kinda artificial. So somefresh fruit will work betterbfor smoothies. Anyway, what a helpful thread finally Big Grin

I got plain frozen yogurt at Zanoni once....would have been great to get a nice flavored variety though.
