Problems with new apartment

Hi everybody! My husband and I just moved into a new place in March and I noticed that there are some problems with our bathroom. There is no window, which is definitely not ideal, but there is a ventilator, which does not seem to work all that well. When we first moved in, I noticed some mold on the tiles that I cleaned up myself but now I see that there is some underneath the silicon that they used at the base of the tub and there might be some in the ventilator too from what I can see. What are our rights in this situation? Can we demand having these things fixed by the owner of the building? Anyone have experience/advice? We would appreciate it!

Of course you have the rights. Just ask your landlord to check and fix it. It's no big deal :)

Verwaltung is responsible for ventilators and they do the check ups and fixing for free for you (ie. it is included into Betriebskosten)
