Hmmm... thinking about making a couple of Indian dishes and want to serve them on those thali platters -- I think that's what they are called. .... the ones that are silver and are partioned to hold like 5 different dishes.

But I have never seen them anywhere in Vienna to buy?

If you have access to the place you can try Metro. The usually have such things.

Nope, no membership to Metro but your right, Mikevienna, next time I'm with someone who does, I should buy some in bulk and so if I have a bigger party, I can use them-- and I take it they would be disposable too!:-)
Neesun, I will check out Naschmarkt-- I usually only stroll around the part closer to Karlsplatz so I take it the Indian stores are closer to Kettenbrueckengasse. Thanks for the tip.
And thanks gemmaanna, will give Prosi a call to see if they have them in stock.
