Vienna suddenly has not one, not two, but THREE frozen yogurt shops!
(Well, two, with a third on the way.)
Today I was at the Stephansplatz Kirtag and ran into YOKUH, a soon-to be opened shop on Margaretenstrasse in the 4th. (They open in August: www.yokuh.at) At the kirtag, they had a stand open, but I wasn't in the mood for it right then, so I grabbed a flyer and moved on.
A few hours later, I stumbled upon KURT Pure Frozen Yogurt. This shop, my friends, IS OPEN. And. It. Is. FABULOUS. Today they had flavors like white tea, peach, (and four others) and they have amazing toppings like Mohn, homemade granola, fresh fruit and more. The design is amazing, the owners friendly, and downstairs they have a cool lounge with a kids area. (and wi-fi!) They opened two weeks ago (grand opening later this month). www.kurtfrozenyogurt.at or http://www.facebook.com/kurtfrozenyogurt
While there, I heard from another customer that there is yet another shop open now in Vienna! Foxy Frozen yogurt, also in the 4th district: http://www.foxyfrozenyogurt.at/
Why on earth we went from having 0 to having 3 in the blink of an eye is a mystery. I'm sure I'll try the others at some point, but if they are like Kurt was today, it was well worth the wait.
