Any hints on where to buy 00 flour for making fresh pasta?
thanks
definitely not easy finding 00 flour here. Anyway, just wanted to say that after a few hours of research on the internet, there were 3 more places that i found. One of them is an online shop so a bit more expensive, and the other is in the 1st district, and charges €6 for a kilo of flour….insane. Seems like a really good shop with all the yummy produce from Italy, but €6 for a kilo of flour is just a little too much! Very friendly though, and they for sure have a great selection of Italian products….at what price I dont know!
The other one i called up was Lasalvia which luvwines recommended. Really lovely lady, and sells a couple of types of 00 flour for pasta/pizza making. €2 the kilo, which is fine considering its pretty hard to find here. So I’ll be off there tomorrow and report back. They sell produce from Slovenia and other places as well, cant remember them all, but sounds like a great shop to visit. I also called Piccini and they sell it for €3 the kilo.
La Salvia is a place I liked to go to on Saturday mornings for a salami croissant and a bottle of Prosecco after I had finished my shopping on the Brunnenmarkt.
